Its really been a while now since the last time we had our afternoon tea. I remember we went to Fairmont for their afternoon tea set at Peacock Lounge a few months ago. And this time, we got the chance to try the latest Sunday Afternoon High Tea at Lamoda, Plaza Indonesia. Its a more affordable & casual option for high tea in Jakarta, compared to the ones at 5 stars hotels in Jakarta. But, its still under the management of Keraton, so the quality is undoubtedly best!
Lamoda offers this afternoon high tea every Sunday from 15:00 to 18:00. They have many different kinds of tiny cakes and pastries, you'll see it by yourself from our pictures later below. The package includes free flow of mineral water plus a cup of coffee or TWG tea. I personally love coffee and so I chose Iced Cappuccino. The Cappucinno was really good, as good as in an authentic coffee shop :) Well, you can see the rests from the pictures.
The cake and pastries selections are available on the long table in the middle of the room. Well, you can have your lunch or dinner here in Lamoda, but you can't take this cake unless you pay for the high tea set. All of the cakes are pretty petite actually, so you can try everything. But, We couldn't even try all because it was too much. They not only have the sweet selections, but also the savory ones.
I think the pictures have explained it all. So, the only thing you can do is to come and try! Oh btw, their iced coffee was really good, you should order that!
