Good morning lovelies! It's a new week and I am excited and ready for what this new day is going to bring and I hope this post finds you doing well! Today's post is taking it back to probably some of my most favorite pictures that Brod has ever taken of us (minus any of the ones with our dudes in them of course). These were taken out in the desert of Dubai which was pretty incredible, and I kind of still can't believe we went there as I look at these pictures. We took a Landcruiser over what seemed like hundreds of hills and dunes and found this spot to get out and wander the desert that seemed to go on forever and ever. It was amazing and I just kept thinking the whole time, "I am in the Dubai Desert wandering around and exploring...like in what world did I ever think I would be doing that?" Haha seriously it seems like a blur now. Do you guys ever feel that way? Like you go on this amazing trip or travel to certain places and then once you get back home, it almost doesn't feel real?! Thank goodness for pictures and for being able to chat about it with Brod, because as we talk about it and as I look back at the pictures, the memories of being there and experiencing it become more real and tangible.
Life is crazy like that, time seems to just go and go, we were talking at Brod's parents house last night about how fast the last 10 years have gone by, and how you often feel like your mind and heart don't age at the same pace as time seems to pass. It reminded me just how precious life is and how important it is to do my best to give my all to every single day. Whether I am at home or traveling I want to make sure and make the most of that particular day and live it to the best of my ability. I want to do my best to be a better mom to my boys, a better wife to Brod, and a better person to all that I meet and see. I know I am rambling now but gosh I hope you guys all find it within you each day to seize and love and live every moment you can! I love you all and I know I haven't met and probably won't meet a lot of you ever, but I hope that by following it brightens your day, or inspires you, or sparks your creative, or improves your day somehow, even it if means giving you ideas on what to style and wear. As simple as that sounds, that is my hope, I just hope that I am spreading some good in the world each day I can! Happy Monday to all of you and thank you following!
