Happy Friday ya'll! I hope this post finds all of you well and excited for the weekend! And, it's February...finally! Seriously was January the longest month of all time? And nothing against January, but man it has been gloomy and snowy here in Utah, and I am excited for maybe a glimpse of a sunlight and Spring. Today's post features a look that has Valentine's written all over it, but it also has a couple of pieces that can be worn over and over again! This pleated maroon dress and the poppy red coat combo has me all sorts of happy and has hit the shop today! This coat is one that I will be reaching for in my closet over and over again! It works in the snowy Winter, can transition easily to Spring, and will be a coat I can wear come Fall as well! I have talked about the importance of versatility in pieces and this is just one reason I love this coat. The color of the coat is so fun and vibrant and yet it is such a wearable piece. I feel like it nails the classy and chic combination in a spot on way.
And before I let you get to your weekend, let's talk quickly about this dress! It also launched at caralorenshop today and I absolutely love it! It's simple and again something that is extremely wearable and could be dressed up or worn around town casually. The pleats give it a fun and playful vibe, while still being classy and wearable. I paired it here with some nude boots for a little bit more of a dressed up look, but I could have easy thrown on a pair of nude flats and the look would be just as great, but different! Heck, you could even try the right pair of sneakers in the Summer with this dress and it would still look good!
