Yellowcard. It was all yellow blue. Mello Yello. Big bird. Bananas. Lemons. School buses. Daisies. So, you can probably spot a theme in all of the above, although the Coldplay lyrics are probably a stretch, but yeah you guessed it they all have something to do with the color yellow. None of the above have anything to do with my obsession for wearing the color yellow this summer, or at least I don't think they do?!
Nonetheless, it is true. I am all about wearing the color yellow this summer season. You might remember the little yellow dress I was sporting on the blog awhile back, and if you stay tuned, one of my favorite new caralorenshop designed t-shirts that is coming out soon is yellow, and now here you have today's post....more yellow. I honestly don't know what it is, it's not like my favorite color...like when people ask, what is your favorite color? I don't immediately respond with yellow, in fact I never have. But somewhere, somehow, this color has become one of my absolute favorites to wear right here, right now, in the summer of 2017! Isn't that weird? Has that happened to any of you, where all of the sudden, or over the course of a few months as you see yourself wearing a certain color, you say, "man, I love the way that color looks on me!" Well, that has most certainly occurred with me, and this swimsuit that I wore in Oahu was no different. I love the fit, and the material is thicker than a normal swimwear piece (and I thought that would bug me but I actually loved it) and the verdict on this one-piece is a yes, yes, yes! I will wear it and I will wear it again. I have linked it below, and if you are not feeling yellow this summer, they have it in other colors too!
I also can't help but miss Hawaii every time I see pictures of my fam and I there, I just wish that I was there again, or leaving on a flight to go back there like tomorrow morning. Oh, and how rad is the flower crown thing on my head?! Unreal right. Any who, I will let you all go for now, but think about that color thing...why do we love wearing certain colors over others? And why is my go-to this summer yellow....weird...but cool...but weird. Love you all!
